(KSL News) -- If you plan on using TRAX trains today you may notice people in bright vest at the crossings.

Major electric circuitry for the crossings and track signals were seriously fried yesterday after a power outage.

Several TRAX Crossings Still Down

The crossing arms and signals at stops in Midvale and Sandy went down and they'll stay that way until midnight tonight.

Until crews can fix the problem, UTA employees will be flagging manually at 7500 south, 7700 south and 8700 south crossings.

Officials hope to have the system up and running in time for the Saturday crowds heading to the University of Utah, for the big football game against BYU.
