(KSL News) A fierce accident leaves wreckage strewn across a roadway and sends five people to the hospital in West Valley City.

Police say everyone injured in the crash will recover. It all began last night when one of the vechiles involved ran a red light at 3500 South and 5600 West. Witnesses to the crash say a yellow pick-up truck t-boned a Bronco, causing it to flip over and ejecting one of the people inside.

Lori Cannon/ Witness: "This Bronco came flipping over my vehicle. It didn't nit my vehicle, unbelievable, it hit the one right next to mine and just kept rolling, then we saw bodies flying out."

Police say only the driver of the Bronco was wearing a seatbelt and they were surprised only one passenger was thrown from the vehicle.

All five people injured in the crash were taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident.
