(KSL News) -- Two schools in the Jordan District could soon close.
A committee recommended the closure of one elementary school in the district last Fall.
The Jordan Board of Education voted to approve that recommendation.
Now that same committee is advising a second school by shut down, due to low enrollment numbers.
Two different proposals will be presented later this month, during an open house.
Cottonwood Heights and Mountainview Elementaries are the schools named in the proposals.
