LOGAN, Utah - Two Utah State University football players did not enroll in school for the fall semester it was announced by Aggie head coach Brent Guy on Sunday. Marcus Cross and Taylor Wallace have left the University for personal reasons.

Cross, the Aggies' starting tailback from a year ago, is transferring to Texas A&M Kingsville to be closer to his wife and child, who were scheduled to move to Logan this semester, but were unable to do so.

Cross, who is originally from Houston, Texas, rushed for 650 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games last season. Cross was a junior college transfer from Garden City (Kan.) JC and played the 2006 season at USU.

Wallace, who played as a backup offensive lineman, is from Encino, Calif. He redshirted in 2005 and then played 297 plays in his freshman season in 2006. He started the first three games of the year at right tackle.
