SALT LAKE COUNTY -- A West Valley woman ran from two separate law enforcement agencies over the weekend, but police eventually caught up with her and put her behind bars.
Utah Highway Patrol troopers picked up the chase near Main Street and 3900 South after the woman fled from Midvale Police. They followed her until she stopped at Hundley Haven Circle and 700 East, and then fled on foot.
Troopers say 21-year-old Jessica Drushal was "extremely combative," and they had to use a Taser to subdue her. They found drugs on her person and in the vehicle then took her to a hospital when she appeared to be overdosing.
Drushal was later booked into jail on fleeing and drug charges.
