BYU drops one spot in latest AP Poll to No. 20 despite win over CSU

NEW YORK -- The BYU Cougars (3-1) beat Colorado State by 19 points, but still fell in the latest AP Top 25 Poll to No. 20.

After a weekend in which four top-10 teams lost, the AP poll underwent a major makeover. No. 1 Florida, No. 2 Texas and No. 3 Alabama held their places, but 15 teams moved up or down at least three spots.

LSU is up to No. 4 after barely avoiding an upset at Mississippi State on Saturday and No. 5 Boise State is in the top five for the first time in the regular season.

No. 6 Virginia Tech, No. 7 Southern California and No. 9 Ohio State are back in the top 10. Cincinnati moved up four spots to No. 10, the best ranking in school history.

No. 13 Iowa and No. 16 Oregon both jumped back into the rankings.

TCU moved up four spots to No. 11 after beating Clemson 14-10 on the road.

The University of Utah received 25 votes after it's home win against Louisville, but still remains outside the Top 25.
