FINAL Fourth Quarter
(19) BYU 42, Colorado St. 23

BYU gets it done today, in a bit of unorthodox fashion, but nonetheless it's a 42-23 win, Harvey Unga back in Harvey form with 3 TDS and 100+ yards.....42-23 BYU wins it!

4:05 Fourth Quarter
(19) BYU 42, Colorado St. 23

Once again CSU makes things somewhat interesting, but the BYU offense answers and this one looks like it will carry the Cougars to a 3-1 start.....42-23 BYU....

7:04 Fourth Quarter
(19) BYU 35, Colorado St. 17

Harvey Unga continues to pay dividends for BYU. It's great to have him back at full strength. He looked terrific on that drive. The signature play was that 3rd and 16. It looked like the Cougars were just setting up for a shorter field goal. Instead ... Unga runs and spins his way for the first down. He also had a nice touchdown run -- his third of the day -- to make it 35-17.

11:42 Fourth Quarter
(19) BYU 28, Colorado St. 17

Colorado State continues to keep it interesting. BYU needs to answer the FG and put this game away.....So a big play on this drive....O. Chambers with a huge catch.....

Third Quarter
(19) BYU 28, Colorado St. 7

After the Pitta touchdown the defense is still not showing that they have complete control of the Ram offense. Stucker is putting the ball all over the field and until they can make a big stop the rams are in this.

6:56 Third Quarter
(19) BYU 28, Colorado St. 7

An 82 yard drive gives the Cougars a 3 TD lead again....the offense finds some mojo....28-7

10:20 Third Quarter
(19) BYU 21, Colorado St. 7

BYU got off to such a fast start, the offense has actually looked sluggish most of this game. A three-and-out to start the second half didn't ease fears. BYU is now in its second possession of the second half. Dennis Pitta just made a short grab. He's been lost in the shuffle this week. Maybe the Cougars should be looking more to their tight ends to make some plays. There's Dennis Pitta again. First Down. You get the idea ...

HALFTIME Second Quarter
(19) BYU 21, Colorado St. 7

A tale of two quarters for BYU....21 points in the 1st Q and then nothing in the 2nd Q and things looked messy in the 2nd Q for the Cougars....TO's and no continuity......

8:35 Second Quarter
(19) BYU 21, Colorado St. 7

The momentum is shifting just a little bit right now as the Rams have forced a punt from the Cougars. Again, the defense has not shown much in terms of being able to put a definitive stop on the CSU offense. They seem to be able to move the ball rather easily, while the Cougars just had their first offensive three-and-out since week 1 against Oklahoma. Alex

8:23 Second Quarter

Life in the RAMS.........BYU still very much in control with all the CSU turnovers, but the RAMS are on the board...21-7 Cougars....RF

0:24 First Quarter
(19) BYU 21, Colorado St. 0

The scoring for the Cougars has been pretty steady but the defense needs to still show some more toughness and make some more big stops before I can feel good about it. But turnovers are killer for any team.

3:04 First Quarter
(19) BYU 14, Colorado St. 0

TO's just killing CSU....two tipped balls and two Int's for BYU....capitalizing on both and making CSU pay.....Max Hall into the end zone....14-0!

7:04 First Quarter
(19) BYU 7, Colorado St. 0

CSU moving the ball impressively after their early TO, but they come up short and miss a FG ....BYU still leads 7-0 ......

12:44 First Quarter
(19) BYU 7, Colorado St. 0

Early turnover, not what the RAMS had in mind.....BYU doesnt let them off the hook and pound it into the end zone.....Cougars are on the board taking advantage of the turnover....
