(KSL News) Three men are booked into jail after leading troopers on a high speed chase through Salt Lake City.
It ended in the area of 800 South and Indiana Avenue. A Utah Highway Patrol trooper tried to pull over the car at 7th East and South Temple for speeding. But instead of stopping, the driver took off.
Speeds reached 70 miles an hour during the chase. The driver spun out near Indiana Avenue. That's when the three people inside got out and started running. Salt Lake City police were called in, and they brought a canine unit.

Two men were caught by officers. The third surrendered after being bit by a dog.
Sgt. Guy Hood/ Utah Highway Patrol: "It's definitely hazardous. The conditions out here don't make it any easier. We were able to apprehend all three suspects, and have no other damage to any other property or vehicles."
Turns out the car was stolen. Police say the men have a criminal history. This morning they face numerous charges.
