(KSL News) -- Officials unveiled the floor plans and artist's renderings for the new Salt Palace expansion this morning.
The expansions to both the exhibit space and meeting space will expand the Salt Palace by about 40 percent.
Construction is expected to be complete in 2006.
Salt Lake County is still working with the state legislature to figure out a way to pay for the project.
The Salt Lake Convention & Visitors Bureau has booked 206-million dollars worth of new business as a result of the expansion.
