(KSL News) -- The state medical examiner today confirmed the body found Wednesday in Salem Pond to be that of a missing Payson woman.
City workers discovered a car in the pond and police found the body inside--the body of Ellen Kay of Payson.
Kay disappeared November 11th after borrowing her mother's car for a doctor's appointment, which she never made. Kay was never seen again.
Police are still awaiting a report on the cause of death.
