OGDEN -- Weber State running back Trevyn Smith was one of two players awarded Offensive Player of the Week honors in the Big Sky Conference.

Smith and Northern Arizona running back, Alex Henderson, were named Co-Offensive Players of the Week for Saturday, September 19, 2009

Smith, a senior from Springville, carried the ball 20 times for 177 yards and scored on runs of 20 and two yards in No. 13 Weber State's 44-17 conference win over Idaho State.

Smith also had seven catches for 31 yards to finish with 208 all-purpose yards. Smith became the school's all-time leader in all-purpose yards with 5,991. It was Smith's 21st career 100-yard rushing game, and this marks the fourth time he has been named Player of the Week in his four-year career at Weber State.

Henderson rushed 32 times for 168 yards and scored three touchdowns in Northern Arizona's 42-39 nonconference victory over Southern Utah.

Henderson scored on runs of three and 57 yards and recovered his own fumble in the end zone for a score. Henderson also had three catches for 64 yards to finish with 232 all-purpose yards. This is Henderson's second Player of the Week honor.
