SOUTH OGDEN -- Police in South Ogden arrested two men in connection with a shooting on July 10 that injured a man and his two small boys.

Police say Daniel Lopez and Christopher Reed walked up to a house on Porter Avenue around 11 p.m. and fired multiple shots through the front window using a 22-caliber rifle and a 12-gauge shotgun.

The 29-year-old father was hit in the face, shoulder, back and eye. His 6-year-old son was struck in the back of the head, and his 5-year-old son was hit in the foot and ankle.

All of the victims are expected to survive.

Lopez and Reed, known gang members from Sunset, were already in the Davis County Jail on unrelated charges.

Police say the father is a well-known gang member and the shooting was likely gang related.
