(KSL News) Authorities are investigating a suspicious garage fire in Salt Lake.
Firefighters were called out around 11:30 last night after a cab driver called dispatch saying he smelled smoke in the area.
Crews then made their way to a home on 1900 South and 600 East. They found a small fire in the garage next to the home and put the flames out quickly.
Investigators are calling the blaze suspicious because no one was at home when the fire started.
