SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A winter storm is expected to hit Northern Utah today, dumping several inches of snow.
The slow-moving storm could dump up to six-inches of snow along the valleys of the Wasatch Front and up to 18-inches at higher elevations.
According to the National Weather Service, snow is expected to fall all day and into the evening.
A heavy snow warning is issued for most of Northern Utah today, including Cache Valley and the Wasatch Front from Salt Lake County north.
The National Weather Service says a new storm system is expected to cross Utah from the south, pushing today's storm system during the middle of the week.
The new storm will bring more rain and snow.
