LOGAN, Utah (AP) -- Smoking is being banned at Logan's three outdoor parks.
Yesterday, The City Council passed a tobacco-and-smoke-free zone whether visitors are swimming, skating or just hanging out.
The parks include the Logan Skate Park, Logan Aquatic Center and Fairview Park.
The ordinance states "Tobacco, smoking and second-hand smoke on these premises detract from and are contrary to health and well-being."
Officials say offenders of the ordinance will be ticketed.
