Sandra Yi Reporting Several people are in jail after two big drug busts in the past 24 hours. Police tells us, tipsters are to thank. In both cases, tipsters alerted police to the drug problems in their neighborhoods.

Late last night, Salt Lake City Police served a search warrant at a house on 21st South just west of Foothill Drive. Drug agents found 150 hits of ecstasy, more than two pounds of marijuana and shot guns and a semi-automatic rifle.

Police say the suspects were dealing the drugs. They found measuring equipment to sell the ecstasy and pot. Three men are now behind bars; 19-year old James Oberlin, and 20-year-olds Rohan Ramesh and David Zipperer. A neighbor, who didn't want to be identified, voiced relief. He says there were never any problems on his street until the suspects moved in, last year.

Voice of Neighbor: "There were lots of cars they'd stop in for 2 or 3 minutes, leave the car running and then leave. I saw people carrying packages wrapped in a t-shirt into the house and then come out without the package."

Salt Lake County drug agents also found ecstasy in a home in the White City area of Salt Lake County. They also found marijuana and pills, like Oxyctontin, Morphine and Methadone. The total street value is between 50 to 75 thousand dollars. Police arrested Joshua Frank Craig. They are also investigating two other people. Investigators believe Craig promotes underground rave parties, which are known to involve drugs.

Police don't believe the two drug busts are related. But again, they credit tipsters. They say if it wasn't for them they would not have known what was going on in those homes.

Tipsters can report drug activity by calling either of the following tip lines, in Salt Lake City at 799-DRUG and Salt Lake County at 743-5919. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
