OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- A man who sold high-end items on eBay that he was hired to protect has been charged with 32 second-degree felonies.
Police said 29-year-old Joshua Joe Silvio is charged with 30 counts of communications fraud and one count each of theft and money laundering.
Silvio was a loss-prevention officer at Sportsman's Warehouse in Riverdale. He's accused of stealing more than 30 items, including expensive spotting scopes and binoculars.
At the time of his arrest last fall, police estimated the value of the items missing at 15-thousand dollars to 20-thousand dollars.
Silvio is scheduled to be arraigned today.
