(KSL News) -- War heroes from Iraq and Afghanistan are being honored today in a new exhibit at Arlington National Cemetery. It's called "Faces of the Fallen."
The exhibit includes portraits of more than 1300 soldiers, sailors, and others killed since the wars started. This exhibit was put together at record speed, just 10 months from conception to completion.

Today families came from all over to see how the world will remember their sons and daughters.
Donna Kephart, Mother: "I believe that with all my heart that he was able to stand as he did because he had a peace about what would happen to him after life."
The exhibit includes men and women who died through Veterans Day last year. Photos of those killed after that date will be added later.
The exhibit stays at Arlington Cemetary through Labor Day. The portraits are also shown on the exhibit's web site.
