(KSL News) Highway Patrol believes slick weather conditions contributed to a crash this morning on I-15.
Utah Highway Patrol says the driver of a red sedan smashed into a freeway barrier near the HOV lane on I-15. Emergency crews had to cut her out of her vehicle. The 52 -year- old woman was pinned underneath the dashboard.

State troopers say alcohol was also a factor. They found several beer cans in her car.
A medical helicopter flew her to the hospital in critical condition.
