ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) -- A temporary bridge in Gunlock is out of service -- again.
The bridge connects rural Gunlock with the rest of Washington County.
Washington County Emergency Services Director Dean Cox said heavy rains cause them to lose the south entrance into Gunlock.
Cox said the only access now is from the north through Veyo.
January's floods destroyed the south bridge, which has been replaced several times.
Cox said officials will get the bridge fixed as soon as the water goes down.
Rain is forecast for the region over the next several days, which also means the Santa Clara and Virgin rivers will continue to rise.
