(KSL News) The 39th annual Jeep Safari is underway in the beautiful red rock near Moab. And as people who take part in it will tell you, it's the most fun you can have on four wheels.
There's a common theme among people who take part in the Moab Jeep Safari: "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again." And usually the four-wheelers get the upper hand.
But it's not just the challenge that draws folks to the red rock around Moab.
Nate Michaels: "The scenery. The ability to get out and see nature and enjoy."
As far as the eye can see, Jeeps and their drivers are taking a shot at the Safari. Not just Jeeps though: Toyotas... Chevrolets... And yes...Hummers.
The weather's a bit on the cool side, but no one seems to mind.
Jon Klafin: "Little chilly this year, but that's why I brought the one with the heater."
