(KSL News) As gasoline prices continue to reach all-time highs, a growing number of Utahns are stealing gas!

Today's Deseret Morning News reports that's a one-million dollar a year problem, and those costs are getting passed on to consumers.

Despite camera surveillance, and friendly warning stickers., nearly 400 gas thefts have been reported since January in Salt Lake County. More and more stations now require customers to prepay.

And it's not just the theft that's a problem. Several accidents have been caused by vehicles speeding away with stolen fuel.
