SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Spencer and Cleone Eccles have given seven (M)million dollars to the University of Utah for its new Health Sciences Education Building.
The give by the two university alumni was announced Saturday night at a dinner that was part of the inaugural ceremonies of university President Michael K. Young.
The gift had been committed confidentially last summer.
The Spencer F. and Cleone P. Eccles Health Sciences Education Building is to be completed in August.
