SPANISH FORK, Utah (AP) -- A group of Scouts who were reported missing is home after an unscheduled stop in Wanrhodes Canyon.

The members of Troop 128 of Springville were hiking from Spanish Fork Canyon to Mapleton Canyon when they lost the trail and misread a map Friday. They continued hiking and ended up in Wanrhodes Canyon, where they found a cabin under construction and spent the night there.

When they didn't turn up at their scheduled destination, they were reported missing and Utah County Sheriff's began a search for the eight boys and two adult leaders around 8:30 a-m yesterday.

But the Scouts turned up a couple of hours later after they flagged down a vehicle and were given a ride to the emergency command post of the search.

The group had been prepared for an overnight campout and had food, water, sleeping bags and lights with them.
