(KSL News) Police are reminding pedestrians to stay alert when crossing streets after an overnight accident in downtown Salt Lake.
Witnesses say the 45-year-old man was jaywalking late last night, at 135 West and 200 South, and stepped right in front of a white pickup truck.
Police say the man sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries. He was in taken to LDS Hospital in stable condition. No one else was hurt.
