SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A couple was arrested at a Beaver Canyon campground Saturday after police linked the pair to a 19-month string of ATM robberies in three different states.

The 37-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were being held in the Beaver County Jail Saturday night, according to a news release from the Beaver County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities believe the couple is responsible for more than 40 ATM robberies in Illinois, Nevada and Utah. Beaver County officers were looking for the pair in connection with several local robberies, including several vehicles. They may also be responsible for robberies in Iron, Millard and Washington counties, the release states.

The couple was located in a trailer at the campground about 7:30 a.m., where police also found several stolen vehicles.
