(KSL News) -- A young woman hiking in Sandy fell more than a hundred feet and survived.
The woman was hiking with some friends near a waterfall at Rocky Mouth Canyon. She lost her footing and fell off a cliff. She landed on a ledge, tumbled, and then fell even farther down.
She ended up in the water at a waterfall.
She was flown to the hospital in serious condition with head injuries and a broken leg.
