(KSL News) -- A man is in critical condition after a Salt Lake police officer shot him. Authorities say the cop responded to a call this morning and went to a house. He was met by Trang Pham.
Authorities say Pham pulled a knife on the officer; the officer then shot the man in the stomach. Pham is expected to recover from his wound.
The officer is on paid administrative leave during the investigation.
