(KSL News) -- An apartment fire in Salt Lake's Millcreek area forced dozens to evacuate their residences this morning.
Some were forced to brave smokey hallways after fire broke out on the main floor of the three story building near 2220 E. 3300 South.
One resident on the third floor was rescued by ladder, but there were no injuries.
Fire crews believe the fire may have started in the kitchen, near the stove. They say the apartment's occupant had already left for work when the fire broke out.
