(KSL News) -- A man out for an evening of fun got stuck in the middle of Utah Lake and had to wait for rescuers to find him.

The man was apparently out kite boarding when he lost his board. His friends called the Utah County Sheriff's Deparment at 10:00 last night after he didn't show up when he said he would.
DPS was asked to help with their helicopter, along with state park boats and search and rescue teams on personal water craft.
Rescuers found him sitting on a dry dock in the middle of the lake. He wasn't hurt, just cold.
