(KSL News) The condition of a teenager stabbed last week in Clearfield has improved.

Police say the 16-year-old's condition has been upgraded from critical to serious. The Standard -Examiner is reporting the victim has also been able to speak with police about the attack.

The Davis County Attorney's office says it will soon file charges against the 14-year-old who attacked the victim and the 15-year-old who was also involved.

Prosecutors say both boys stabbed the teen when a fight boiled over at a public park.
