(KSL News) -- An eight-year-old Sandy girl is dead after being hurt in a tractor-trailer accident Saturday.
The girl was on a church hayride in the Sandy area at about 10 a.m. Saturday. She jumped off the trailer as it was moving but when she tried to jump back on she didn't make it. After being run over she was flown to Primary Children's Medical Center.
She died Sunday morning from head and abdominal injuries.
