SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- When it comes to working up a sweat, Salt Lake City residents are all dried up compared to people living in the southern sweat belt.

According to a new study, Salt Lake City lands right in the middle of the one-hundred most-perspiring cities in the nation. The report said Salt Lake City is ranked at 51.

Phoenix is the top perspiration-producing city at number one. Las Vegas ranked number two, while Tucson came in at a close number three.

The study was conducted by Proctor and Gamble to find the sweatiest cities in the United States. Basically, the study looked at how much people sweat while walking around in an hour in each city's weather conditions.

This is the fourth year the study has been conducted.
