SALT LAKE CITY -- A bicyclist was hit and seriously injured Thursday night by a FrontRunner commuter train.
The train was pulling into the Salt Lake Central Station at 200 South and 600 West. The crossing arms were down, but a Utah Transit Authority spokesman says the bicyclist rode through the bars and was hit.
Crews had to pull the cyclist out from underneath the train. He went to a hospital with critical injuries.
