(KSL News) -- A Davis County judge has rejected a request to dismiss charges against a 17-year old involved in a fatal road rage crash that happened August 2004.
Prosecutors say Cole Todd Sorensen was a passenger in a car with two other teenagers when they got into some sort of argument with another driver on the road.
Sorensen allegedly pulled the emergency brake inside his car, causing it to swerve and hit David Scott Parsell's motorcycle head-on.
Parsell was killed in the crash.
Sorenson will go to trial in September.
