(KSL News) -- From Utah to the Oval Office, a Layton artist today met President Bush.
Rebecca Bornemeier painted a portrait of the president.. following 9-11. Thanks to an email to Senator Orrin Hatch, she got to present the president with that painting today.
Bornemeier says the president was impressed that she "captured his eyes".
Bornemeier was inspired by the president's actions following the terror attacks. And she says meeting him was a dream come true.
