SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- A man has been charged with murder in the death of his wife.
The Salt Lake County district attorney's office said Wednesday it filed the first-degree felony count against 60-year-old Dennis Wayne Lambdin.
Cottonwood Heights police found 41-year-old Touch Choun dead in a home on Aug. 17. They said she had been stabbed, punched and beaten over the head with a heavy snow globe.
Police said they received a call the same day from a man in Maryland who told them a friend e-mailed him saying he had stabbed his wife.
Officers went to the home and found Choun dead. Lambdin allegedly had cuts on his hands.
Court records did not list an attorney for Lambdin. There was no answer Wednesday at a phone listing for him.
