(KSL News) -- The National Big Brother of the Year is back home in Utah.

Big brother Tom Taylor met little brother David Gessel eight years ago, and despite the 53 year age difference, they've become great friends.

National Big Brother of the Year Back Home in Utah

Taylor received his national award in Washington DC last month, but Arby's honored Taylor and Gessel today by awarding them free food for a year.

Taylor says he's honored by the award, but his experiece has helped him as much as his little brother.

Tom Taylor, National Big Brother of the Year: "You'll help a kid and you'll help yourself. The thing that I didn't realize but turned out to be true is that I look forward to spending time with David, so it's a pleasurable activity."

Taylor will be helping with the Arby's Charity Tour Golf Tournament and Auction which raises money for the Big Brother Big Sister program.
