SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Firefighters are battling a wildfire in the southern end of Skull Valley.

The Tooele County fire started yesterday around four p-m and spread quickly, which is now estimated at nine-thousand acres.

The blaze called Ditto Fire is now around 40 percent contained. Fire officials expect to have the blaze fully contained by sometime tonight.

There's currently 40 firefighters handling the blaze. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
