Randall Jeppsen Reporting Getting a drink on New Year's Eve might be a little tricky in some Utah cities.
A Utah County bartender says they'll be closed on Sunday, New Year's Eve, and she's not happy about it.
Bartender: "I want to work on New Year's Eve and I want to let everyone have a good time."
Many Utah County cities ban Sunday beer sales, but Orem, Pleasant Grove and Provo do make New Year's Eve exceptions. However, other cities like American Fork, Lindon and Salem don't. Some residents, like this bar customer, plan on staying home.
Customer: "I may just go ahead and stock up so I don't have to worry about that."
It might be a good idea to call first before planning on a party at your favorite watering hole.
