Marc Giauque Reporting A lot of people traveling this holiday week missed their flights in and out of Denver. In fact, one Utah couple nearly missed their wedding.

Michael and Kia Saxton were at the airport to meet family coming in for their Utah wedding reception. Their reception in Denver was actually held before their wedding.

Michael Saxton: "We were expecting to get married the 22nd of December, but because the courthouses were all shut down in Denver we couldn't get our marriage license, so it was postponed a day."

The Saxtons say many of their family members were not able to attend.

On news of the next approaching storm, they decided to drive back to Utah, cutting short their honeymoon. Still, love apparently conquers all.

Kia Saxton: "If we can get through that we can get through anything."

Michael Saxton: "Yeah, ten years down the line we will never forget our wedding day."

Isn't that sweet.
