(KSL News) A Cedar City woman wants to see her mom get some recognition for taking care of so many foster children.

So, she recruited our Coco Warner, and they both gave Dona Dickinson a High Five.

Kathy says Dona is one of the kindest, most gentle women she knows.

Once their two older children left home, Kathy's parents took in over 200 foster children over the years, when they lived in the Los Angeles area.

When they retired, they moved to Cedar City. But Dona didn't really retire. She worked another volunteer job for 22 years at the hospital in Cedar City.

Kathy Breinholt/ Nominated mother: "I've always admired the way you have been so kind and have given service to others. It means a lot to me. It's been a great example in my life."

Dona Dickinson/ Nominated by Daughter: "I think it's quite nice. I have a great daughter. She does lots of good things too."
