(KSL News) A traffic accident, a bag full of drugs and a concerned citizen.
Now one suspected drug dealer is off the streets and behind bars this morning.
Earlier in the night, Sergio Pasillas got in a car accident on State Road 201.
Troopers got suspicious when a concerned citizen called them about drugs in a duffel bag that were found at the scene.
They set up a sting, and when Pasillas arrived near Cheyenne Street and California Avenue to pick up the bag, he was arrested.
Shane Keisel, Utah Highway Patrol: "Whatever was in the bag was important enough to him that he would drive out of his way to retrieve it."
Inside that bag were large amounts of methamphetamine, cash and packaging materials, believed to be for distribution.
Pasillas was arrested along with his driver, who had some outstanding warrants.
He was booked for possession with intent to distribute and possession of paraphernalia.
