Andrew Adams ReportingVery brisk shopping day today, the day after Christmas. Folks are returning things they don't like and picking up bargains for the New Year.
George Jimenez: "My wife loves all these kinds of things. Every year I come here and I get all kinds of perfumes for half price—top of the line name brands."

At Target, Sharon Taylor was taking advantage of the deals, but she was also returning a shirt.
Sharon Taylor: "My son thought it was tacky."
Andrew: That was yours?
Sharon's son: "Ya, it just didn't seem like me."
Valley Fair Mall JC Penney store manager John Kirschman says that's if you're looking to switch out a size, "the day after Christmas probably isn't a good day to go back."
Otherwise, retailers say it's better to bring in your returns sooner than later. Might be tough to make a swap in March.
