SANDY -- Utah Highway Patrol troopers don't know if a man is injured, but they'd like to find out. They're looking for a man who walked away from a crash Tuesday night on I-15 near 9000 South.
The car was traveling north when the driver attempted a lane change. When she noticed another car coming up next to her, she overcorrected and rolled the vehicle.
Four people, including three children were hospitalized. An adult woman and a child were flown to the hospital by helicopter. Trooper Cameron Roden says all of the victims are expected to recover.
The man was in the car that flipped and fled on foot after the accident. Given the crash and the other injuries, Roden says there's a good chance the man is hurt as well.
"And we'd like to know the circumstances of why he left the scene," Roden added.
Witnesses say the man did not appear to be hurt.
Roden says the woman, who was driving, has given investigators a possible name, but troopers are not sure she's given them the right name. There are no warrants out for the name the woman provided.
