WEST VALLEY CITY -- A man who led police on a chase through West Valley City Saturday now faces a multitude of charges.
Domingo Rodriguez-Ruacho is booked in jail on suspicion of, among other things, fleeing, possession of methamphetamine and being a restricted person with a firearm.
Police say Rodriguez-Ruacho sped away from an officer who tried to pull him over for a traffic violation. He came to a stop, though, after police spiked his tires.
Police arrested him and during a search of the vehicle, found both meth and a large caliber handgun. Those two violations together could lead to federal charges.
The Salt Lake County Jail says Rodriguez-Ruacho has been in jail three times before, though it wouldn't say when or for what.
