CEDAR CITY -- A body found stuffed in the freezer of a Cedar City home may be that of a man missing since May.

Police say the man lived in the home near 200 South and 800 West off and on, but he hadn't been there for some time.

Family members decided to clean up the home on Tuesday, and when they went in the basement, they found the body.

It was in an advanced state of decomposition because the power to the home was off.

Police hope an autopsy will reveal the body's identity on Friday.
