MURRAY -- A robbery in Murray Thursday morning left a man with a gunshot wound to the foot.
Police say the suspect entered a Family Dollar store at 6100 S. and 1300 East just after 9:00 and demanded money.
The employees refused, and began throwing items at the suspect. During the scuffle the suspect's gun went off, and one of the employees was shot in the foot.
The suspect then took off on foot. Police are now looking for the suspect and trying to determine if the gun was fired intentionally.
The wounded employee is expected to be OK.
