SALT LAKE COUNTY -- Salt Lake County sheriff's deputies are looking for a late-night robber.

They say the robber waited inside the Tesoro gas station on Highland Drive at Murray-Holladay Road for just the right time. Then around 11:45 p.m. he pulled out a gun and demanded money from the clerk.

The clerk complied, then the robber ran away. Deputies used a K-9 unit to help search for the man but did not find him.

He is described as a black male, possibly in his 20s, wearing dark cargo-type jeans, a black hoodie and white tank top.
