Andrew Adams Reporting How is history remembered? Sometimes, it is with a brick.
There's visible progress now toward the future City Creek center. The Inn at Temple Square is being demolished and now, you can have a piece of history.
Demolition crews are doing their worst, tearing through stone and metal. A thousand bricks of the historic Inn, though, will be up for grabs Saturday at the ZCMI Center. A lot of people are excited to take one home and maybe put it on the mantle. Others, however, don't feel the same way.

As for the demolition, crews will tackle the Crossroads parking garage in January, and the Key Bank tower is expected to implode next summer.
